You are invited to attend an informational open house on September 25, 2025, from 6:00 to 7:30 pm at the Los Banos Community Center, 645 Seventh Street, Los Banos, CA 93635, to learn about Los Banos’ proposed General Plan amendment. It has been determined that the SR-152 bypass is no longer feasible, and the City would like to amend the 2042 General Plan to accurately reflect current plans for the future. This amendment would remove mention of the bypass from the General Plan; slightly retract the City’s sphere of influence and urban and growth boundary; and revise General Plan land use map designations, among other changes. The proposed map updates will be available to view at the open house and on the City’s website, below.
